We inspire young people around the world to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths through a unique challenge: to design, build and race an electric car. Teams of students aged 9 to 25 from across the globe compete at Greenpower events in the UK and other countries including USA, Spain, Portugal, Belgium and China. The annual International Final takes place at venues such as the UK's Silverstone National Circuit and Goodwood Motor Circuit.
We are delivering our virtual work experience programme again, starting in February and running for two-week slots across February, April, June, August and October. Open to 14 – 18 year olds this programme is a mix of interactive quizzes, online modules and live webinars and it is completely free to join with students working through the content at their own pace. If student complete the full programme, (around 10 hours) they will be awarded a certificate for their portfolio and there are additional projects for areas of interest that students can do in their own time.
